They do have a dive attack for extra damage and fight with talons and javelins. With CR 1/4, aarakocra aren't too though. Instead of being a parrot-vulture bastard with some humanoid features, it's now a bird-faced humanoid with wings, kind of like a tengu.Īarakocra are still Neutral Good. This aarakocra here looks quite different. Until a few years ago, I never bothered to really read their name - it always ended up with aar. The aarakocra, D&D's go-to birdfolk, are one of my favourite races of monstrous humanoids.
